BRIEF HISTORY

Son of the original Green Arrow, Connor Hawke entered the same ashram monastery that gave asylum to his father years earlier. Master Jansen raised him as a buddhist monk and trained him in martial arts. Connor sought internal peace, but he also craved for adventure like the father he had not known.

Years later, Ollie returned to the monastery. Connor did not reveal to him that he was his son. Instead, he joined him and mercenary Eddie Fyers until Ollie died in a plane explosion over Metropolis.

Connor decided to honour his father's memory by becoming Green Arrow himself. He even joined the JLA for a brief period of time. Even though he was a great archer, his father had been better than him. However, he mastered martial arts. Because of his ability, he became the target of Lady Shiva. She was part of a martial arts cult and challenged him to prove her superiority. Connor almost died.

When Green Arrow was returned to life, he met his son. Both protect Star City together. Connor adores and admires his father.
