Once a brilliant college football quarterback with a promising career, Michael Jon Carter traveled from his home in the
24th century to start a new future in the present as the superhero Booster Gold. At first dedicated to commercial pursuits
rather than noble causes, Booster eventually became a hero in both name and deed. He later joined Justice League America,
where he forged a close friendship with Blue Beetle. While far more altruistic than he was in the recent past, he still may
try and sell the film rights the next time he saves the world.

His original battlesuit from the future destroyed when Booster Gold fought Doomsday, he now wears one created by Blue Beetle
that is the first suit's equal in many ways. A powerful exo-skeleton at its foundation, the suit gives Booster great strength
and increased stamina. The suit protects him from harm by creating an energy dampening force field that absorbs most impacts.
Booster's battlesuit also has a formidable offensive capability, including its high-powered energy blasts fired from the gauntlets
and the specialized "Midas Mode," which increases the suit's performance tenfold. Booster's former robot companion, Skeets,
has been incorporated into the new battlesuit, where he still serves as Booster's advisor and confidant.
