Info

The maco has never been recorded to attack boats or people but it's large teeth to make it dangerous. The life span of a maco is a disputing issue but it is suspected that it lives to about 11 to 15 years. With such a streamlined and thin body, the maco can give bursts of speed at around 22 mph. It eats mainly fish, other sharks and sea turtles.
