This type of hammer head is often seen swimming with it's dorsal fin or caudal fin exposed. Is considered dangerous. Young are born live, bearing 55cm long, in litters of 29 to 37. It eats most bony fishes,
also stingrays, several have been found with many stings in their mouths from the stingrays tails. The stingrays make up a
large part of their diet. This is one of the many species of shark where, unfortunately, their fins are made into shark fin
soup.
