Dr. Mafuni originally found Titanosaurus near the Bonan Islands in 1960 while he was researching how to control sea life
for food. When Dr. Mafuni presented his findings his coworkers they were skeptical. Shortly afterwards Dr. Mafuni was fired
because as far as they were considered he had been working to hard. Dr. Mafuni then went off to a secluded Island to live
there with his daughter Katsura and continue his research on Titanosaurus. While working on a machine to control Titanosaurus
with his daughter something goes wrong and Katsura is shocked to death. The aliens from the 4th planet from the black hole
then step in and carry Katsura away. They operate on her, and revive Katsura by making her into cyborg.
15 years later in 1975 Mafuni makes a deal unknowingly with the black hole aliens. To prove to them that his device to
control Titanosaurus works he orders Titanosaurus who attacks a sub that is searching for pieces of Mechagodzilla in the sea.
To help conceal that Mafuni is behind any of this, his daughter tells anyone whom asks that Mafuni is dead. As part of Mafuni's
agreement with the aliens he helps work on Mechagodzilla 2 and shares his opinion that to make the perfect monster you need
to utilize living brain cells.
Meanwhile Interpole decides to send another sub to try and recover the pieces of Mechagodzilla, and like the last sub this
one is attacked too, but the sub manages to ward off Titanosaurus by accident when they hit him with super sonic waves. After
making this discovery Interpole starts to make a machine that will produce high frequency super sonic waves. Mafuni learns
of this from his daughter and decides its time to show every one exactly how powerful Titanosaurus really is by having him
attack Japan while Katsura destroys Interpoles machine that produces super sonic waves. Shortly after starting his attack
Godzilla arrives on the scene to fight Titanosaurus, and the two go at it. However the fight ends abruptly when Katsura is
shot, and falls off a cliff into the sea below while she was being chased by Interpole agents. Titanosaurus turns away from
Godzilla and goes off into the sea after Katsura.
When Titanosaurus returns Katsura, the black hole aliens once again revive her, but this time they place a device in her
brain that will allow her to control Mechagodzilla 2. Mechagodzilla 2 then teams up with Titanosaurus and they both converge
on Japan. Shortly after they start their attack starts, Godzilla shows up and counterattacks the two. Unfortunately Titanosaurus
and Mechagodzilla 2 are more than Godzilla can handle as it seems every time Godzilla gets the upper hand against one, the
other interrupts. Luckily for Godzilla Interpol deploys a chopper equipped with a machine that produces high frequency super
sonic waves called the Supersonic Wave Ocelator. The chopper manages to keep Titanosaurus occupied while Godzilla deals with
Mechagodzilla 2. Godzilla eventually defeats Mechagodzilla 2 when Katsura commits suicide, shutting down Mechagodzilla 2 completely.
Titanosaurus is then beaten by the combined effort of the Supersonic Wave Ocelator and Godzilla. After being defeated Titanosaurus
retreats into the sea never to be heard of again.
