Destined from birth to be a champion, Diana was formed from the clay of Themyscira by the hands of Queen Hippolyta, ruler
of the Amazons, and brought to life by the powers of the Gods of myth. Chosen to be Themyscira's ambassador of peace, Princess
Diana is more widely recognized throughout "Man's World" as Wonder Woman. A gentle and caring soul, Diana's methods are
different from those of more traditional superheroes. Still true to her original mission to teach the virtues of Olympus,
she never attacks without provocation and will only fight as a last resort. But, this does not dim her dedication to protecting
those in need. |

Gifted by the Greek gods, Wonder Woman possesses superhuman strength, the ability to fly, and amazing speed and reflexes.
Trained in the ancient Greek methods of hand-to-hand combat, she is a formidable opponent. Combining her speed and training,
Wonder Woman is able to deflect projectiles with her bracelets. She also wields the Lasso of Truth, forged from the
girdle of the earth mother Gaea, which forces anyone held by it to tell the absolute truth. |
